All, for those of you who constantly watch the Weather Channel (or maybe that's just me and our referee assignor) you will see that rain is coming Wednesday.  Both parks are working hard to give us any grace possible regarding playing. 

For those of you who wonder why we cancelled games last Sunday - a record amount of rain was recorded in December/January.  Why does that determine February field conditions you may ask.  Because of the record amount of rain SC is experiencing an unusually high water table level - which means when it rains there is no place for the water to go.  You may note that this is not a park specific problem just here in Columbia - leagues around the state are delaying seasons, cancelling games, etc. 

I look forward to getting in as many games as we can as they're scheduled. 

Be aware that weeknight make-ups as well as Saturday games will be scheduled if we continue to experience this extrordinary amount of rain.
